Villa Tanju Bali is a luxurious 4-bedroom beachfront retreat, located at Mengening Beach on Bali’s southwest coast. Villa Tanju Bali is comprised of a series of pavilions, leisurely spread throughout 2,400 square metres of tropical gardens, complete with a stunning 15 x 4.5 metre infinity-edge swimming pool, lotus ponds and restful water features. The simple application of timber, terrazzo, natural colours, fabrics and local materials, such as the alang-alang grass used in the construction of the roofs, is consistent throughout the property. The rugged beach is just a few metres away and the glorious views take in the distant volcanoes, dramatic coastline and neighbouring Hindu sea temple of Pura Bata Ngandang, perched on a rocky outcrop and lashed by the waves of the Indian Ocean.

Location

Villa Tanju Bali is located on the coast, within the beautiful agricultural belt between Kuta and Tanah Lot; an area that is home to some of the most luxurious private residences on the island. Remarkably laidback and undeveloped, this tranquil out-of-town setting offers the double attraction of being relatively close to everything that guests might need, while also offering visitors a privileged insight into the traditions of rural Bali. The nearby sweeping beach is renowned for its panoramic coastline views and legendary sunsets. It has some world-class surf breaks but the currents are strong and it can be dangerous for swimming. The trendy Seminyak area, a mere twenty minutes drive away, offers a wide choice of international restaurants, chic cocktail bars, exciting nightclubs, lavish spas and elegant shops. Convenient for most of the island’s tourist attractions, the villa is forty-five minutes’ drive from Bali’s International Airport and fifteen minutes from Nirwana Golf Course.
